Using materials like eggshell, abalone shell, pine needles, and rapeseed, they recreated the beauty of underwater scenes with a mysterious, artistic charm.
The process involves layering colored lacquer and gold leaf, followed by additional coats of lacquer for a durable, glossy finish.
