Tokusui Choro (Small)

The "Tokus Choro" is a type of clay doll. In the Kansai region, including Kyoto and Osaka, street performances were once referred to as "Choroken." These performers, often dressed as gods or deities, would perform in front of gates or entrances and receive what we would now call "tips" from spectators.
