Parquetry Linked Kite Pair Chopsticks
Ginza Natsuno
SKU: 120-OBIS-02-SET
While there are many chopsticks made from parquetry, these have a modern finish. The handles are square, but the tips are octagonal, making them easy to grip. In Edo-period Japan, there was a tradition where a daughter would be given a kimono with an arrow pattern (yagasuri) when she got married, symbolizing that, like an arrow shot straight that never returns, she would not come back home after marriage.
